In 1957 a local man named James Filby, living in Kinver, Staffordshire, started repairing the local children’s toys in his garden shed. After time, he started repairing the locals caravan and towing requirements. This is how J Filby LTD became to be known. It soon started to get very busy and the first factory location was set up in the heart of Kinver carrying out all types of machining.
